Calling ALL RFTW Riders, supporters, and 2018 and 2019 FNGs from Central, Midway, and Southern Routes. We are 1 Mission | 3 Routes. RFTW has the honor of presiding over and being in-charge of the annual brick laying service at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Angel Fire, NM. We encompass this also with an RFTW Reunion of FUN and fellowship.
Register & Pay for Saturday night Dinner here:
More info on what we will be doing here on Saturday morning, Sept 1, 2018. Lunch will be provided at the Memorial.
Most people stay in Eagle Nest, NM. There are a number of hotels, motels, cabins, and RV Parks. Book your own accommodations in Eagle Nest, NM.
Angel Fire Resort is also an option, but it is 10 miles away from Eagle Nest, NM
The Meet-and-Greet will be in Eagle Nest, NM at Calamity Janes on Friday night: 51 E Therma St, Eagle Nest, NM 87718, and the Dinner and Rider Forum will be in Eagle Nest, NM at the Community Center on Saturday Evening: 74 N Tomboy Dr, Eagle Nest, NM
We are told August 1, 2018 is last day to order bricks to be placed at the Memorial in Angel Fire, NM. The bricks will be placed at the brick laying service on Sept 1, 2018. The RFTW Reunion for this project is Aug 31 – Sep 2, 2018. Run for the Wall is the ONLY Group that is allowed to lay these bricks at the memorial and “officially” change the grounds to have these memorial bricks placed around the walkways. Order a brick and have a friend or family member remembered for their service. The person DOES NOT have to be deceased, nor does the person have to be a Vietnam veteran to have a brick placed at the memorial. Bricks can be ordered for ANY veteran of any era, and even for those currently serving. Many times whole families come to join in the brick laying ceremony. It’s an honor for Run for the Wall to be given this responsibility.

The Memorial announced that they are no longer selling brick for this year as of yesterday(I think). Too many so they stated from now on they will go to 2019 and be installed then.
