Although Rolling Thunder is dropping the ride through DC on the Sunday before Memorial Day, the ride WILL be continuing! AmVets National & AmVet Riders will be continuing the tradition in 2020. Details are being worked out and announcements should be available in the near future. I met with AmVets National Commander and National Executive Director in DC after the group photo shoot at the Lincoln Memorial to discuss the event next year and the following years.

I just returned home from the annual Amvets convention in Louisville, KY where President Trump was our keynote speaker. Plans are moving along for the Memorial weekend demonstration ride through Washington, DC.  Committees are being formed, (i.e. steering, volunteers, Gold Star Mothers, etc) and sponsors are being lined up. As soon as they release the contact for the Volunteers I will post it if anyone is interested in volunteering some time at the ride. So be ready for the ride Sunday afternoon in DC!

      Is it May yet??
