An alternative campsite is available in Williams at the United Methodist Church, 127 W. Sherman (2 blocks east and one block south of the American Legion Post).  There is grass areas on 3 sides of the building and a playground with wood chips available for tents.  Bikes can be parked on the grass or on the street or in the parking lot.  The building will be open and the Fellowship Hall, Sanctuary Overflow, and Nursery will be available for sleeping.  The bathrooms will be available.  Unfortunately the church doesn’t have showers.  I will try to have coffee ready in the morning.  The Aquatics Center (which is 320 W. Railroad in the big blue metal building on the westbound Route 66 about 1-1/2 blocks north of the American Legion Post) will be open for showers.  (Sorry… the pool isn’t open yet.)  Camping is free.  http://www.communityumc-williamsaz.org/

Many thanks for offering up the campsite at the UMC in Williams. Your hospitality to those of us who will be camping along the RFTW Central Route is greatly appreciated.
