The picture of Bud beside his trike is the morning we left for the Pfc. Gordon escort in East End, Saskatchewan. The town of East End asked us all to stay for dinner, but the RCMP’s closed the border crossing at sunset, so we all had to get back into the States. When we arrived at the hotel, the Gordon family had arranged for a banquiet room at a facility across the street, to host all os us for dinner. Bud ordered a “chocolate” martinii. Several of us had never heard of it !!! Bud ordered us all one.(This Marine was not going to drink alone ! ) I do not know where that Devil Dog put them but he just kept them coming, I do not remember much after the 2nd round. We all had a profound love for that laugh and smile of his. He was definitly a chick magnet.

Bud’s final Mission is complete. Well Done Marine, WELL DONE.

Have a chocolate martinii on us brother. My heart aches, but my soul is complete, because of you.

He was the first one to meet up with me in Southern California after my FNG year in 2013.   We met at Hell’s Kitchen, Lake Elsinore.   On my move out to Pennsylvania, I rode to Bud and Teresa’s house, and together we rode to the Colorado Reunion.   Great man!   He will be missed!

      Until we meet again,
