Has there been any consideration about how this might impact RFTW 2020 in DC ?

Does anyone here have a definitive answer about these two events?

Rolling Thunder still shows their ride happening on 24MAY 2020, the same day Rolling to Remember has “Ride at Noon” scheduled.

Different locations? Neither site comments about the other.

It is doubtful I can make it back to the States for this year, but I am curious about it anyway.

Rolling Thunder is having regional rallies Memorial Weekend. They are NOT hosting the demonstration run in DC Memorial Weekend, AMVETS is. Rolling Thunder DC (The local chapter) has a link on their website for the 2020 run, which is where I believe is where you saw that information. RTDC’s only part during the weekend is Thunder Alley which they refused to concede to AMVETS.

I do know RT has a rally in North Carolina, Ohio and other states on Memorial weekend. Check the link below from National Rolling Thunder.

Hope this clarifies your question Killswitch.

Thanks Popeye for clearing that up!

I really want to be there, but Uncle Sam says I’m doing something else for the time being.

Ride safe there and back, everyone!
