The 31st Annual Run For The Wall is quickly approaching.  We’ll probably have in the neighborhood of 1,600 participants signed up before the close of early registration at the end of April.

The next First Saturday Lunch will be held this coming Saturday, May 4th, at (or near) 11:00 in the morning at the Tilted Kilt in Rancho Cucamonga.  For those not involved with the group in the past, we’ve been meeting for a couple of years now, alternating with the seasons between the high desert and the (much) cooler atmosphere of Rancho Cucamonga.

The lunches continue to provide an informal venue to discuss the Run, renew old friendships, and to foster new ones before the annual separation into the three distinct routes heading toward Washington D.C. in two short weeks.  Three weeks after our meeting this Saturday, many of you will reconvene on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial for a group photo.

Let’s talk about it at our gathering this Saturday, May 4th at the Tilted Kilt:

    Tilted Kilt

    12770 E. Foothill Blvd (Rt. 66)

    Rancho Cucamonga, CA  91739

    Time?  11:00 – 11:15 until whenever

As with the “membership” of Run For The Wall, there is none.  We only ask that participants, veterans or otherwise, simply support the Mission that is RFTW.  Newcomers (FNGs) to RFTW, or those simply interested in seeing what it’s all about, are strongly encouraged to join us.

While Run For The Wall is a ten-day ride across our country, plus time spent in Washington D.C. on Memorial Day Weekend, not every rider will go All The Way this year due to time or other constraints.  That’s O.K.!  Of concern is the Mission, and your understanding that this isn’t just another item on the “Bucket List,” but a serious effort in support of our military, past, present, and future.

We hope to see you on the 4th
