There will be an auction in Ontario for a whole steer, courtesy of Mike & Melanie Huber.  Mike “Bandit” Huber will be the auctioneer.

Proceeds will go to Falcon, North Carolina, Children’s Home and Milan, New Mexico, Elementary School.

The steers will be auctioned separately and the money raised will go to the school designated for each steer. Cost of processing/shipping is above winning bid and is the responsibility of winning bidder (see options below).

The winning bidders will be responsible for their steer. They will have the option to:

      1. Pick up their steer(s) at the Double M Ranch in New Mexico and take them home or to their own butcher. (Steers will weigh approx. 1200-1300 lbs. each and processing cost will be approx. $1,000 ea.)
      2. Have Bandit and Sassy take their steer(s) to a local butcher then arrange to pay for processing/packaging/shipping of meat. (Steers will weigh approx. 1200-1300 lbs. and processing cost will be approx. $1,000 ea.)
      3. Donate the meat to the school. (Bandit and Sassy will take meat to butcher, winning bidder will pay for processing/packaging. Bandit and Sassy will deliver to Milan, if needed; someone will pick up and deliver to Falcon. Steers will weigh approx. 1200-1300 lbs. and processing cost will be approx. $1,000 ea.)
      4. Leave steer(s) at the ranch, or
      5. Make other agreeable arrangement with Double M Ranch which does not constitute any cost or responsibility for the schools or the Double M Ranch.
