New for this year, all of the Route Coordinators and Last Man Vehicles on each route, will be equipped with Scout GPS systems.  These systems will transmit the GPS location of each route, Central, Midway, and Southern, as we make our way from Ontario, CA to Washington, DC.  The lead element of each Route will be labeled: “CR1” for Central, “MR1” for Midway, and “SR1 for Southern”.  The interactive map will be located on the front page of our website at: http://www.rftw.us. We encourage our supporters, families, and friends to use this new feature, to see where we are at, and to anticipate our arrival to a location, or to use if you’re standing on an overpass in the middle of nowhere to show your support. :). Please spread the word about this new feature for this year!  We wholeheartedly thank the folks at SCOUT for donating their time, GPS equipment, and efforts to this project for us. If you’d like a Scout of your own, check out their website.
