I will be riding out with Brother in-law and nephew to do the RFTW. How do we get assigned to same platoon? I am already registered.

I’d be happy to put you all in the same platoon, just notify me when you check in at Ontario

2016 was my FNG year.  My platoon leader told me when I sign in to join the ride next year to just ask for the same platoon number.

Platoons are assigned when you check in at your joining stop.  Whether they preregister or not, if you can, all of you come to check in at the same time.  Once you all get to the Platoon station, kindly ask if you all can be in the same platoon.

Central Route- when you check in with your group for your platoon assignment after registration, please let me know and I will be happy to position you all in the same platoon

Cynder is correct – there is no real drama here….. Just ask for the platoon number you want to be in and unless there is unforseen circumstances, the kind lady at registration will assign you to it 🙂  I have ridden all 3 routes and I have “favorite platoons” for each route….. I request that platoon at registration and I have never been denied. We are a family, we take care of ourselves!
