I was wondering, since it seems like there will be riders going forward with the run anyway, are there any riders doing W2W?  I understand it’s not sanctioned, but how about a few dedicated veterans get together and show the pride that we feel about our great land.  We ride the route and say, “see, Cupcake, it works.”  I’d like to do this, but it would be better with more engines humming.

What route would you be following? Since the stops are not sanctioned would you do a shorter time to get across country.

      I might be interested…

I am planning on riding to the sandbox either from Maine or DC.

I was thinking I would just stay the night at DC host hotel and then take off from there.  I would be leaving from western Ohio and traveling 70E and then down to Morgantown VW for the night.  Hit DC, stay the night and ride the route as planned.  We would have to do our own food stops and such but the route and visits would show the stops that we care.  Just an opinion from an FNG.
