How many can you fit in your rooms? Troublemaker and myself haven’t booked our rooms yet and I’m fairly certain he wouldn’t object to splitting a room three ways instead of two. I know I wouldn’t object. Just a forewarning…We are both in leadership positions this year and he is part of the registration team, so early risers we will be.

Change it when you check in. I made the mistake of trying to change something on my registration last year and ended up being registered twice. Unless, of course, someone of a higher rank than “peon” says something otherwise…in which case, ignore what this “peon” just said!

No, it is not required to stay at any hotel along the route. Just remember LA traffic and plan to be early.

I agree 1000% with walk in vs preregistration prices being different. Every venue that sells tickets online has a higher price when you pay at the door vs online. However, here is a thought…

How many FNG’s will have heard about RFTW within a month of participating? My thought is, if we charge FNG’s the guessed $50 vs $30, are we going to turn away day trippers? I would say FNG walkins shouldn’t be charged extra, but only FNG’s.

Anyone else? Bend them over and make it hurt. Preregistration takes 5 minutes (10 if you’re like me and registering your wife as well). And you can still pay in Ontario.

I’m not sure what you define as “affordable”, but I have a guy local in Ft Worth who can print them with no background for $10 each. I sent him a copy and he is going to bring me two as a sample in white (my bike is graphite gray). I’ll post the results on Monday night.

I’m good for the date. I’m probably not able to complete registration until mid-January, but I am definitely in. Travis Handleson “Road Hazard”.

Well, I’ll tell the wife to hold off on the voucher and spend the money elsewhere for Christmas. Put me down as a guaranteed attendee for the class.

I’m getting a voucher for this class for Christmas. Is your scheduled class at a discounted rate or normal price?

Funny thing…I asked about road guards in DC. I was told, for road guard, you have to:

    1. Go all the way…Twice.

    2. Have had a leadership/support position once.

    3. Have attended a motorcycle safety course (advanced) within the last three years, accredited by somebody who I don’t recall.

    4. Be willing to be up before anyone else on the Run is even hitting their snooze buttons. Be there to direct the staging team into the staging area and the riders as they arrive.

    5. Accept that you will be the last into the rest stop, then you are the first one out. And you thought the road guards were dancing on the side of the road because it was entertaining??? Nope, they gotta pee!!!
