Sixguns, you are definitely registered and your registration fee has been paid.  This occurred December 16, 2016.  You should have received a confirmation email showing all of the data you entered.

You should check your spam/junk folder; you may find it there, but I will resend your confirmation shortly.

Just did a Google Search on the name, and came up with Navy vet living in Bisbee, AZ.  I sent him a FB Message, and will advise what comes of that.

No, FNG status is only for the first time participating in The Run which, in your wife’s case was in 2015 while participating in a Cage.

    Bird,

Once you pre-register, you can join the Run anywhere along the route.  So, if you’ve already registered to join Central Route at Angel Fire, and change your starting location to Ontario, that’s not a problem because all of the registration forms begin their journey with the registration teams in Ontario, CA.  Now, if you decide to change your Route, that’s a different matter, but all you have to do is fill out a Contact Form requesting the change, and set the form’s destination to “Registration”.  As long as this change is noted prior to May 1st, the route change can be incorporated.

    Karyl,

It’d be best if you try to get a room at the host hotel in Ontario for that Tuesday evening.  Plan on arriving Tuesday afternoon to complete the registration process wherein you provide paperwork for your motorcycle, and sign the release forms.  Then you can get familiar with some of your fellow Midway  riders and have dinner with all of the RFTW riders.  Early next morning, you’ll be staging with your new friends in the parking lot right next door to the hotel..Look for the hotel listing to be published o/a December 31st.

When you’re counting bikes in a video, keep in-mind that the Advance team and Ambassadors, to name a few, are out in front, probably already at the next stop getting things ready.  Speaking about the Advance Team which includes the Fuel Team, you’ll be amazed how efficiently all those motorcycles can be refueled.

BTW, Central Route is consistently the most numerous in terms of bodies, followed by Southern and Midway.

Chelangal, first the easy one – SITREP is short for Situation Report.  Typically, someone on each route is tasked with the job of providing a written report concerning the days events.  It’s not an exhaustive report, kinda like Joe Friday’s “just the facts”.

Now, FNG can be a little touchy, but in it’s current usage it is meant to say “Fine New Guy” or “Fine New Gal”.  Some substitute “Friendly” for “Fine”.  FNG, in it’s historical usage from Vietnam was short for “F***ing New Guy”, someone who “old-timers” were leery of for various reasons, usually believing that being near one of them when the “s**t hit the fan” meant increased risk to the life of the “old-timer”.  Eventually, the FNG became an “old-timer”, and life went on.  Please be assured that RFTW’s FNG’s are cared for and looked after like the treasures that they are.  All FNG’s wear a distinctive pin denoting them as such, and you can count on being supported all during your Run by leadership and “old-time” riders.

SOP is short for Standard Operating Procedure, the rules by which we operate.

Tiimgene, why wait?  You can register for SR 2017 right now.  From the menu, Run Info –> Registration will take you to the new Registration Form.
