RFTW Midway Route

Midway Route Hub

Welcome to the Midway Route

After the Southern Route was established in 2000 and the original Run For The Wall route was renamed the Central Route, RFTW continued to grow at an unprecedented pace. By 2013, the organization once again faced the challenge of accommodating increasing participation. Rather than limiting riders, a third route was created. Named the Midway Route for its path between the Central and Southern Routes, it provided a new option for participants.

The 2013 Midway “Recon” Run brought together riders from both the Central and Southern Routes and was jointly led by John “Slammer” Gebhards and Dave “Trunks” Gladwill. The first full-scale Midway Run followed in 2014. With the addition of the Midway Route, Run For The Wall became known as “One Mission, Three Routes.”
