Welcome to the Sandbox Route

In 2019, Run For The Wall established the Sandbox Route to recognize and honor the younger generation of veterans – those who served during the Global War on Terror – as well as the patriots and supporters who stand beside them. Unlike the other routes, which cross the country simultaneously, the Sandbox Route is uniquely designed to continue the journey after they conclude. Following the Memorial Day weekend ceremonies in Washington, D.C., Sandbox Route departs on a three-day ride to Marseilles, Illinois, where a separate tribute is held to honor those who served and sacrificed in our nation’s most recent conflicts. This “Wall-to-Wall” concept reflects the spirit of all our routes and gives deeper meaning to our identity as One Mission – Four Routes.
