2024 Merchandise Now Available!

Today registration begins for the 34th annual Run For the Wall in 2024. In support of the upcoming mission, the store has added new 2024 merchandise that is now available. This includes the 2024 Wall 2 Wall, All The Way and Participant bar patches, pin, wristband and a new safety yellow men’s shirt. The shirt is offered as a performance, moisture wicking shirt that is in the same material used for the gray shirt which is also offered in the store. New items will continue to be added in the coming months so keep checking back!

Also, we’re making available the FNG patch, ahead of the Run. The pin that is issued at registration for FNGs will still be issued but we’re giving FNGs the opportunity to purchase the patch in addition to the pin if they chose to do so. The FNG lettering commemorates the 80th anniversary of D-Day in 2024. Protocol for the use of this patch, if sewn onto a vest, jacket or other prior to the Run, is that it is in the upright position until a FNG completes the Run. At the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C., anyone in leadership can and will turn your pin upside down at which time the patch can be sewn upside down.

Finally, as a reminder, the store is operating on a limited shipping schedule until September 24th. All shirts and hats will continue to ship normally. Anything else will be delayed until the week of September 24th at which time normal operating procedures will be in place.

As always, any questions, comments and feedback are welcome. Let’s make 2024 the best Run of them all! Is it May yet?

Store is now open

Welcome home everyone! I hope you had a great Run and time to get some rest. I wanted to let you know that the Store is open again after being closed during the Run.

In addition to the Store being open again, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your patience and support during the Run. There were some initial startup issues for our Point Of Sale system in Ontario and unfortunately, we were unable to print receipts for those of you who may have wanted one. These issues are top of mind as we think forward to 2024 and will be addressed.

As you have read from the RCs and others, there is an After Action Report (AAR) that is available for you to provide feedback. I welcome any feedback directed to me about our Merchandise operations, selection and any other top of mind areas you’d like to address. Good or bad, all feedback is welcome! I want to be sure that what we offer you is appealing, something that promotes Run For the Wall to the world and is something you’re proud to own. So please, take a few minutes and fill out the AAR directed at Merchandise. The link to the report is here.

We ride for those who can’t.

RFTW Merchandise Update

It’s now 10 days untill KSU for the 2023 Run For the Wall and the beginning of our mission. I want to take this opportunity to inform you that there will be several new items available for sale on all routes this year. Since taking this position in February, I have received a lot of feedback from you regarding the shirts and styles that we had been selling. I’m excited to announce that we have brand new shirts to offer everyone as well as a few other goodies. Below is a list of the new stuff you can expect when you stop by one of the merchandise trailers, either in Ontario starting May 13th or anytime along the four routes.

New men’s black long sleeve. RFTW motorcycle logo on the front and POW*MIA on the back.

New men’s RED shirt for red shirt Fridays. American Eagle on the front with RFTW flag logo and 4 stars representing each route. Back has the American flag along with Remember Everyone Deployed.

New men’s moisture wicking performance long sleeve shirt with our vintage logo on the front.

New Women’s V-neck in royal blue with the RFTW logo on the front.

New Run For The Wall logo hat.

In addition to the shirts and hat, there will also be a new back patch recognizing all four routes showing Coast to Coast and Wall to Wall, 2023 Run For the Wall wrist bands in forest green and four new campaign stickers adding Desert Storm, Global War on Terrorism, Afghanistan, and Iraq to the Vietnam stickers that have always been available. Lastly, as a reminder, for those of you that would like to get your hands on the 2023 route itinerary, these will also be available for purchase at any of the trailers.

In closing, there are two additional topics I’d like to end with. First, there will be no smoking within 50’ of any of merchandise trailer out of respect for the merchandise team and the products we’re selling. And, just a reminder, that all sales are final as we do not offer refunds or exchanges.

I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable ride to Ontario or to any of the stops along the way. Look me up if you have any questions or just want to say hi. I should be easy to find as the Central Route photographer.

Online Store Update

Our online store will be closed May 1st – June 15th so the merchandise team can prepare and participate in the upcoming 2023 Run For The Wall. RFTW merchandise, including brand new items, will be available for purchase beginning May 14th at the Holiday Inn (host hotel) in Ontario. Look for the Run For The Wall merchandise trailer behind the hotel in the back parking lot.

In addition to the online store closing, all 2023 shirt sales will be suspended beginning this weekend so that the remaining inventory can be prepared for shipment to Ontario. The shirts will be available again in Ontario.

Please stop by and say hi or look for me walking around with a camera as the Central Route photographer. I hope to see you in Ontario!
