After careful, considerable deliberation, last night, the RFTW Board of Directors voted to remove Ron “Sky” King as a member of the Board. We wish Ron the best and look forward to his continued support of the RFTW mission.
Current Vice President/Chairman John “Turkey” Staub will be acting president until the Board conducts an election. Once that happens, another announcement will be forthcoming.

The Board of Directors wishes to share that Jim “Bruzer” Bruzewski has, for personal reasons, stepped down as the RC for the Midway Route for 2023. Bruzer has long dedicated his free time to advance the mission of RFTW, and as we move forward with our 2023 planning, his zest and energy will be missed. Jerry Wilkins agreed, and the BoD has approved, his appointment as Midway RC. Jerry will nominate his ARC and the BoD will act on that nomination as soon as possible.

Exciting news! Homes for our Troops (HFOT) has announced the date for the Shenker Volunteer Day – which will will be held in Queen Creek, Arizona on Saturday, September 10, 2022 @ 0900 hours (that’s 9:00 AM for you civilians). Official invitations will be available soon, but please save the date!
Volunteers will be helping to lay sod, plant bushes and get some basic home landscaping done. It’s a great way to help out and have fun at the same time.
